1. Who can use the App

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to use an app that shows ads) to use the App. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. The App requires no account: nothing identifies you to us, and you are responsible for the device on which it is installed.

2. Your licence to use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Android devices you own or control, for the purpose of creating and editing videos, in accordance with these Terms. The App is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights that are not expressly granted to you.

You may not copy the App except as allowed by Google Play, sell, rent, lend or sublicense it, modify or create derivative works of it, decompile, disassemble or reverse-engineer it (except where the law expressly allows this), remove any notice of ownership, or extract its templates, effects, shaders, fonts, previews or other assets for use outside the App.

3. Your content and your responsibility

You own what you make. The photos, videos, audio, text and voice recordings you bring into the App, and the finished videos you export, are yours. We claim no rights in them, we never receive them, and you may use your exported videos for any purpose, including commercially, subject to the rights of others in the material you used.

You are responsible for the material you import. You confirm that you have the right to use every photo, video, music track, voice and likeness that appears in your project, and that your exported videos do not infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights, and do not contain illegal content. If you include other people, obtain their permission. If you use music, make sure you hold a licence for it. We are not responsible for what you create, publish or share with the App.

Everything is processed on your device. We do not review, moderate or back up your content, and we cannot recover a project or an export that you delete or that is lost with your device. Keep your own backups of anything important.

4. Templates, effects, fonts and other built-in assets

The App includes templates, text styles, effects, filters, transitions, stickers, fonts, sounds and preview images (the “Assets”). The Assets are owned by or licensed to CONPLY. You may use them inside the videos you create with the App, including in videos you distribute or monetise, without crediting us. You may not extract the Assets from the App, redistribute them separately, offer them in another product, or claim them as your own. Some Assets may be marked as locked and made available through a temporary unlock as described in section 5; this changes nothing about their ownership.

The optional end-card template contains the words “Edited with MONTAJI”. You may keep, change or remove that text freely.

5. Ads and temporary unlocks

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

7. Notifications

The App shows a progress notification during an export and can notify you when it has finished. It can also send optional notifications about new templates, updates and tips. You choose which categories you receive in Settings → Notifications and can turn them all off at any time, including through Android’s own notification settings.

8. Updates, availability and changes to the App

We may release updates that add, change or remove features, templates, effects or supported devices, and we may change the ad formats and the locked-item rotation through remote configuration without an update. Some features depend on your device’s hardware (for example the resolutions and codecs its video encoder supports); the App tells you when an option is not available on your device and may export at the closest supported quality. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, error-free or compatible with every device or Android version, and we may discontinue it at any time. Updates are delivered through Google Play.

9. Intellectual property

The App, its code, design, name, logo, Assets and documentation are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws and belong to CONPLY or its licensors. Third-party components are used under their own licences. Details, including how to report a copyright concern, are in the Intellectual Property notice, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or uninterrupted operation. In particular we do not warrant that an export will succeed on every device or input file, that the output will match your expectations in quality, size or duration, that locked items will remain available, or that the App will be free of defects. Video processing is demanding: on some devices it may be slow, use a lot of battery or fail for large or unusual files.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CONPLY will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, projects, exported videos, profits, goodwill or opportunities, arising from or related to the App or these Terms, even if we were advised of the possibility. Because the App is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to fifty euros (EUR 50) or the equivalent in your currency. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law permits.

12. Your responsibility to us

You agree to compensate CONPLY for any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) brought by a third party that arises from the content you create or share with the App, or from your breach of these Terms or of applicable law.

13. Ending the agreement

You can end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the App. We may end or suspend your licence if you breach these Terms, if we discontinue the App, or if the law requires it. Sections 3, 4, 9 to 12 and 15 survive termination.

14. Google Play

The App is distributed through Google Play. Your use of Google Play is also governed by Google’s terms, which take precedence for matters concerning the store itself (downloads, updates and any future purchases). Read the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide support for the App. Google Play and Android are trademarks of Google LLC.

15. Governing law and disputes

The App is offered worldwide. These Terms are governed by the laws that apply where you live, including the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence, which always take precedence over anything in these Terms. We do not designate the law of any single country. Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us — most issues can be solved quickly by e-mail. Any dispute that cannot be resolved this way may be brought before the courts competent for your place of residence. If any part of these Terms is found invalid in your country, the rest remains in force there.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the App or the law changes. The effective date at the top shows the current version. For material changes we will inform you inside the App or on the store listing before they take effect. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
