MONTAJI – Pro Video Editor has no accounts and no servers of its own, so there is no account to delete. This page explains where your data lives, how to erase it yourself in a few taps, how to ask us to request erasure of the technical data held by Google services, and how to manage each permission.
Requests by e-mail: userconplay@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days.
Contents
1. Where your data lives
| Data | Location | How it is deleted |
|---|---|---|
| Projects, drafts, thumbnails, caches, settings | App private storage on your device | Delete the project in the App, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall (section 2). |
| Exported videos | Your gallery, folder Movies/MONTAJI | Delete them in any gallery or files app (section 3). |
| Advertising ID, ad interaction data | Google AdMob | Delete or reset the Advertising ID in Android settings (section 4). |
| Notification token and topics | Firebase Cloud Messaging | Turn notifications off in the App, or uninstall (section 5). |
| Crash reports, usage statistics, installation ID | Firebase Crashlytics / Analytics | Identified by a random installation ID that is destroyed when you uninstall; Google deletes the records at the end of its retention periods (90 days for crashes, up to 14 months for analytics). You can also ask us to request erasure (section 6). |
| Settings copied into Android backup | Your Google account (device backup) | Android Settings → Google → Backup → manage or turn off backup for the App. |
2. Delete everything on your device
Either of these removes every project, draft, cache and setting the App stored, and invalidates the installation ID and notification token:
- Uninstall the App. Long-press the MONTAJI icon → Uninstall, or open Google Play → MONTAJI → Uninstall.
- Or clear its storage without uninstalling. Android Settings → Apps → MONTAJI → Storage & cache → Clear storage. The next launch starts fresh, like a new installation.
3. Delete exported videos and drafts
- A single draft: open Projects in the App, open the menu of the project and choose Delete.
- Exported videos: open your gallery or files app, go to
Movies/MONTAJIand delete the videos you no longer want. Some Android versions keep deleted media in a Trash folder for up to 30 days. - Videos you shared with other apps or people are copies outside our control; delete them in the app you shared them with.
4. Advertising ID and personalised ads
- Open Android Settings → Google → Ads (on some devices: Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- Choose Delete advertising ID to stop any app from using it, or Reset advertising ID to disconnect past ad data from your device.
- Inside the App, open Settings → Privacy options to change the consent you gave for personalised ads (shown where the law requires consent).
You can also manage Google’s ad settings for your Google account at adssettings.google.com.
5. Stop notifications
- In the App: Settings → Notifications → switch off Allow notifications, or turn off individual categories (new templates and effects, app updates, tips, export finished). Switching notifications off deletes the push token held by Google.
- In Android: Settings → Apps → MONTAJI → Notifications → turn them off entirely or per channel.
6. Request erasure by e-mail
Because the App never asks who you are, the technical data held by Google services (crash reports, usage statistics, notification token) is identified only by random identifiers. In practice, uninstalling the App and deleting your Advertising ID (sections 2 and 4) is the most complete erasure available, and it takes effect immediately.
If you still want us to act on your behalf, send an e-mail to userconplay@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my MONTAJI data”. If you can, include the identifiers involved (your device’s Advertising ID, found in Android Settings → Google → Ads) so we can locate anything at all. We will reply within 30 days, tell you what was done, and keep your e-mail only as long as needed to handle the request.
7. Permissions and how to revoke them
Each permission is requested only when you use the feature that needs it, and declining it never blocks the rest of the App.
Camera
Records clips into your project. Revoke: Android Settings → Apps → MONTAJI → Permissions → Camera → Don’t allow.
Microphone
Captures sound for recordings and voice-over. Recording stops automatically when you leave the App. Revoke under Permissions → Microphone.
Notifications
Export progress and optional news. Revoke under Permissions → Notifications, or in the App’s Settings.
Photos and videos
The App opens the Android photo picker and receives only the files you tap. Nothing to revoke; the App cannot browse your library on its own.
Storage
Needed once to save exports to the Movies folder on older Android versions. Newer versions use the media store without any permission.
Background export
A foreground service with a visible notification keeps the export running if you switch apps. It ends when the export finishes or you cancel.
Android may also auto-reset permissions for apps you have not opened for a few months; the App will simply ask again the next time you use that feature.
8. Common questions
Does uninstalling delete my exported videos?
No. Exports are saved to your gallery like any camera video and remain until you delete them there.
Can you see my videos or projects?
No. They never leave your device. We have no server that could receive them.
I lost a draft after clearing storage. Can you restore it?
No. Drafts exist only on your device. Please keep exports or backups of anything important.
Why can’t you find my data when I e-mail you?
Because the App collects no name, e-mail or account, we have nothing that links a Google-side record to a person. Resetting or deleting your Advertising ID and uninstalling the App severs every identifier the App ever used.
Does the App work without granting any permission?
Yes. You can import media through the photo picker, edit and export without granting camera, microphone or notification access. Those are needed only for recording and for alerts.
